Job summary We currently have an exciting opportunity for a RN to join our elective Orthopaedic Unit in St Woolos Hospital, Newport.
The post provides a diverse range of care within planned elective Orthopaedic Surgery.Caring, compassionate, enthusiastic, dedicated and highly skilled.
These are just a few words that describe the Nurses that work within our Health Board.Are you interested in developing your nursing skills and have a desire to care for Trauma and Orthopaedic patients at St Woolos Hospital?We offer all staff a supernumerary period and an opportunity to develop skills within this specific surgical field, as well as a 3 year development programme, called the Journey of excellence and clinical supervision.
Main duties of the job T&O has established and well organised wards with excellent performance in multi-disciplinary working and discharge rates.Candidates are required to be flexible and reliable in their approach to work.
In return the directorate will demonstrate a commitment to both personnel and professional development to the successful candidate.If you are an enthusiastic and motivated nurse who is keen to pursue a career within Trauma and Orthopaedic nursing then you are just the person we are looking for.
