UHCW NHS Trust is currently recruiting Band 5 Paediatric and Emergency Nurses to work in our Children's Emergency Department (CED).
The Children's Emergency Department (CED) is a very busy department treating 37,000 patients a year and caring for infants, children and young people aged 0-17 years of age from Coventry and have currently expanded our footprint within the children's Emergency Department.
At the same time increasing our workforce or nursing, ACP and ENP's as well as a designated Practice Educator for staff within CED to help enhance and develop skills.

Applicants who do not have current valid UK NMC registration will not be considered for this post.
Main duties of the job On a daily basis we work with the Paediatric team, the acute medical teams, acute surgery, the orthopaedic team and other specialities.
We also work closely withspecialist nurses and the play specialists to enable us to offer holistic care.
The Unit also has well established links with KIDS (Kids Intensive Care & Decision Support) based at Birmingham Children's Hospital.
As a Band 5 nurse you will be supported by a strong and experienced Band 6 team and led by a Band 7 CED Unit Manager.
There will be opportunities for you to expand and develop skills through our bespoke nurse development and training plans with the support of the specialist nurses and the Paediatric Practice Educators.
We are constantly developing the Unit and always developing our practices.
