Main duties of the job Responsible for the assessment of paediatric patients entering the Emergency Department, prioritisation of treatment, delivery of care and evaluation.The post holder is expected to carry out all relevant forms of care without direct supervision and required to demonstrate procedures and to supervise qualified and/or unqualified staff.

Person Specification Experience Essential Recent clinical experience in an acute Trust Well-developed verbal and written communication skills Time management and personal organisation skills Awareness of national access standards affecting ED Patients Desirable Previous experience at Band 5 within speciality Evidence of facilitating learning in practice.
Qulaifications Essential Children's Nursing Degree Desirable Experience in Paediatric Emergency Medicine
