The chance to deliver compassionate care on a flexible schedule makes this role both rewarding and accommodating.What you can add:As a registered nurse to always work within and uphold the NMC Code.To assist in the delivery of care activities in the child/young persons own home and other community settings following an intensive training programme and competency assessment.Staff will work unsupported following assessment with the support of the Clinical Case Manager.
Has responsibility for the induction and development of new care staff, under the direction of the Clinical Case Manager.To be flexible to work flexible hours, 4/5 week rota pattern including weekends and Bank Holidays.Undertake clinical tasks as delegated by the Clinical Case Manager.Responsible for working with children/young people who are dependent on others for meeting some or all of their health and wellbeing needs.Ensure the care that is delivered to the children on the caseload is of a consistently high standardResponsible for discussing the childs/young persons support plan with the qualified nursing team, ensuring understanding of their role in providing care to meet the needs, including an understanding of the Safeguarding of Children.Responsible for delivering care in accordance with relevant care plans, escalation plans, Standard Operating Procedures and guidance.The role will involve, but not be limited to you performing the above.What you'll need:Registered Childrens NurseMentorship qualificationApplication Form & CertificatePortfolio of evidenceExperience of working with Children/Young People who have additional/ complex health needs.Knowledge of the impact of complex health needs on Child/Young person and familyFlexible approach and professional outlook.6-12 months post registration.Experience of working with children/young people in the community settingExperience of working with Children/Young People who have Special Educational Needs.Knowledge of The NHS Children and Young Peoples Continuing Care Framework.

Person Specification Qualifications Essential All Registered Nurse roles will be required to provide evidence of :- Statement of NMC Registration Degree/Diploma in Nursing Experience Essential A car and valid UK driving license.
A minimum of 6 months paid experience in a Registered Nurse Childrens Continuing Care (Community) environment within the last 2 years.
