Job summary This is a Bank Registered Nurse role at Avery Healthcare's Aran Court Care Home in Birmingham.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to residents, acting as the person in charge and standing in for the Manager as required.

Main duties of the job As a Registered Nurse, your focus will be on acting as the person in charge, standing in for the Manager as required, and ensuring high standards of care for the residents.
You will undertake a range of nursing tasks including medication distribution, dressings, catheterisation, tube feeding, and managing chronic medical conditions.
You will also be responsible for advising families and GPs of any changes in resident condition, keeping them informed and involved in ongoing care decisions.
Additionally, you will be responsible for the effective deployment and supervision of the care team, ensuring all tasks are completed during your shift and residents receive the required care.

Demonstrate a minimum 2years experienceand up to date knowledge of care,supported by relevant post-basic studies/qualification.

Person Specification Qualifications Essential To be successful in this role, you must hold a First Level qualification and current NMC Registration.
You will also need to demonstrate a minimum of 2 years' experience and up-to-date knowledge of care, supported by relevant post-basic studies/qualifications.
Strong interpersonal skills, the ability to instruct and demonstrate care activities, and sound knowledge of care planning and its practical application are also required.
