The Registered Nurse at Aspen Centre - Dermatology out patient role will be an exciting opportunity to excel your career.
Gloucestershire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust offers a countywide Dermatology service and this post will be to be based at Aspen Centre, Gloucester.
We are looking for a compassionate Nurses leader to join our team to help deliver high standard of care and work well within a multidisciplinary team.
You will be working with the Band 6 sister and dermatology specialist nurses, who will be supporting you in achieving the competencies.
You should also be able to evidence consistently developing your knowledge in order to provide patients with an advanced treatment options .
Main duties of the job You should communicate effectively and actively participate in Multi-Disciplinary Team (MDT) meetings to aid patient care.
Also, effective clinical skills to cover the minor operation and clinics with the allocated establishment.To establish a friendly working environment and help support the clinic as allocated through rota.
Also, acts as a role model, demonstrating high levels of clinical expertise and delivering individual patient care.
As a Registered Nurse, there is an expectation of proactively engages in education and development, ensuring its relevance to the practice area and individual needs.The candidate should demonstrate excellent skills and ability to work in a busy environment.
Promote excellent team working and interdisciplinary relationships and the ability to work flexibly is essential.

Ensure Health and Safety standards for the workplace are in place and support with the risk assessments.Work closely with the specialist Nurses, Doctors, Senior Nurses, Health Care Assistants and Matron to ensure the operational delivery of high-quality care, clinical safety & effective clinical governance within given resources.
Also, to adhere to all Trust policies and procedures and professional code of conduct.

Person Specification Qualifications Essential Registered Nurse with the Nursing Midwifery Council.
Desirable Experience of working with a Dermatology as one of the areas of practice.
Mentorship in practice.
Experience Essential Good theoretical knowledge of dermatology medical conditions and procedures.
Ability to switch between different activities and unpredictable demands in meeting out patient activities.
Range of clinical competencies as required fulfilling the role and willingness to seek training Advanced IT skills that include the use of hospital IT systems and patient portals.
Ability to switch between different activities and unpredictable demands in meeting out patient activities, develop skills related to absence management and recruitment and retention of staff.
Knowledge/ Skills Essential Excellent communication skills written and verbal, able to communicate for clinical purpose, negotiation, leadership, and influence which may include highly sensitive, contentious information, with barriers to understanding Working knowledge of safety and governance frameworks and standards (including confidentiality/ freedom of information/ Caldicott regulations/ CQC essential standards) Identifies potential health, safety and security issues and collaborates with others to promote and maintain an environment that supports infection prevention and control policies and procedures Able to priorities own workload and having personal resilience to manage complexity and work in an ambiguous or changing environment.
