We welcome applications from an experiencedband 6 midwife who is currently registered to work in the UK.

Main duties of the job There is significant emphasis onmulti-disciplinary working and the ability to work as an individual as well asa team member is essential.
You will be responsible for the planning,implementation and evaluation of individualised care plans which ensure deliveryof holistic, research based care, prioritising communication, informed consentand relationship building.
You will work closely with our multi-disciplinaryteam of professionals.
Some of your daily duties will be: Assessing and advising on the needs of women, birthingpeople, partners, families, and carers and providing emotional support duringall stages of pregnancy and postnatal care Planning, delivering andevaluating standards of evidence-based midwifery care Identifying and caring for women with more complexpregnancies Providing interventions and key messages around PublicHealth including infant feeding Recognising deterioration in the in the physical ormental condition of a patient and taking appropriate action/ escalation andmanaging emergencies.

We are looking for an experienced midwife who is currentlyregistered to practice within the UK and who is interested in joining our teamat our acute unit in Darlington.
The role is primarily based within the labourward but we also offer rotation to the antenatal and postnatal ward settingsand we are very keen to hear from midwives confident working in the assessmentunit and triage setting.
In return, as anew to trust midwife we can offer a bespoke training and development programmewhilst also recognising the value of prior learning in your speciality.
