Youll share our vision of empowering individuals by providing choice and care to all.As a Registered Midwife at our Essex clinic, youll receive bespoke training to deliver high-quality, safe, and effective abortion care.
You will work in a team that values personal development, training, and a clinically supportive environment.
You'll be involved in both Early Medical Terminations of Pregnancy (up to 9 weeks and 6 days) and Surgical Terminations (up to the legal limit of 23 weeks and 6 days).
Contraception services are also provided.There is an expectation, once fully trained, to travel and work independently in our community treatment centres in Southend, Dagenham, Romford and Colchester.
Training to become fully competent in the role takes approximately 6 months 1 year.
