Some service users will have chosen to be admitted to an inpatient ward, whereas others will be detained under the Mental Health Act.
Main duties of the job You will be involved in providing a high level of safe and effective Nursing care Be responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of care To provide crisis intervention to service users experiencing mental health difficulties and self harm suicidal behaviours.
To assess mental and physical fitness of service users.
To attend and respond to emergencies occurring in the service during their span of duty.
