Barker Ross is looking for an experienced Children's Residential Home manager, to help set up a new 2 bed children's home for our client.
The children and young people are aged between 10 - 17 years old and have experience of EBD.
The successful candidate will implement policies and procedures.
Using your experience, you will set high standards and make a positive impact on the lives of children and young people.
Key Responsibilities: Build and manage the day-to-day operations of our brand-new children's home, ensuring compliance with Ofsted standards Recruit, train, and mentor a dedicated team, fostering a commitment to the highest standards of care.
Collaborate with external agencies to provide comprehensive support and programs for the children and young people.
Drive continuous improvement through evaluation and quality assurance processes.
Build effective partnerships with families, guardians, and external professionals to ensure holistic care and support.
On call duties Requirements: QCF Level 5 qualification in Residential Childcare (or equivalent).
Proven experience in a regulated children's setting with an Ofsted rating of 'Good' or higher.
Minimum of 3 years' experience in residential childcare, with a focus on setting and maintaining high standards.
Excellent leadership and managerial skills.
Understanding of the needs and challenges of children and young people with complex needs.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Supportive and collaborative working environment.
Driver with own car.
