Your main duties will include: 1.
Leadership & Team Management: Lead and manage a dedicated team of care staff to ensure quality care is delivered.
Foster a positive, supportive, and inclusive team culture.
Provide guidance, support, and regular supervision to staff.
Manage staff rotas, ensuring adequate cover for all shifts.

Delivering Person-Centered Care: Ensure that residents receive individualised care in line with their personal preferences, needs, and choices.
Oversee the development, review, and updating of care plans.
Promote dignity, independence, and choice for all residents.

CQC Compliance & Health & Safety: Ensure the home meets all CQC standards and relevant regulations.
Conduct regular audits and assessments to monitor and improve the quality of care.
Take responsibility for maintaining health and safety standards, ensuring the home is safe and compliant with all legislative requirements.

Resident & Family Engagement: Build strong relationships with residents and their families to ensure effective communication.
Ensure that residents and their families are involved in care decisions and informed about any changes in care needs.

Operational Management: Oversee all aspects of the homes operations, including budget management, recruitment, training, and resource allocation.
Manage the medication process to ensure safe administration and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Promote a positive environment with regular activities and community engagement for residents.
What Were Looking For The ideal candidate will have: NVQ Level 5 in Leadership and Management (or equivalent) or willingness to work towards it.
Proven experience in a Registered Manager role or senior leadership position within a care home environment.
Previous experience working with elderly and dementia residents is essential.
A sound understanding of CQC regulations and the ability to lead the home to achieve positive inspection results.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
Excellent organisational and communication skills.
