We are seeking a positive, dedicated, and inspiring Registered Manager for our Children's Home which provides up to 52 weeks of residential care for 22 children and young adults from 8 to 19. We require all applicants to be suitably qualified and experienced or have the right zest, grit, and determination for the next step in their career.
The ideal candidate must have a high level of knowledge and experience in supporting children and young people with autism and severe learning disabilities, a positive and proactive outlook, a willingness to work collaboratively and carry out the vision and ethos of the whole organisation, strong leadership skills, excellent communication skills, knowledge and experience of all relevant legislation, regulatory requirements, and inspection processes, and experience of managing a staff team, including carrying out professional supervision and performance management processes.
Our approach is to therapeutically and holistically support and nurture the unique interests, abilities, and needs of every child and young person in our care. This approach would require you to work closely and collaboratively with our Principal Headteacher of Overley Hall School to create, maintain and review a full, individualised waking day curriculum for all our children and young people.
