We are currently recruiting on behalf of the leader in specialised care for the elderly who provide high quality care and companionship services for older people. They are looking to recruit a Registered Care Manager to be accountable for the management of the day to day running of the service, ensuring compliance with all CQC legislations.
Key responsibilities: Coordinate the development and growth of a high quality private domiciliary care service for people in the local area. Promote the highest standards of care and service with a focus on person centred care. Quality check risk assessments ensuring compliance to relevant legal and regulatory requirements. Ensure successful operation of quality control systems and performing quality assurance visits for clients. Continually reviewing and improving processes to ensure the most effective and efficient service is always being delivered. Effectively managing complaints and incidents, carrying out investigations relating to the quality of the service, and using those findings to initiate improvements. Ensure relevant reports are forwarded to relevant bodies e.g. CQC, Care Inspectorate, Care Inspectorate Wales, The Regulation and Quality Improvement Authority and Safeguarding. To be successful in this role, you will need to have at least two years' experience as a Registered Manager within domiciliary care with proven experience in leading, training and managing a team to provide high quality care. You will have or be willing to work towards Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care. A full drivers license and access to own vehicle is also essential.
A salary of £36,000 – £40,000 per annum + benefits dependent on experience is on offer. There is an additional payment for on-call duties and a monthly performance-based bonus. This office has an "outstanding" CQC rating and has an excellent working environment. Key business processes such as recruitment, finance and payroll are centralised, allowing the Registered Care Manager to focus on compliance, growth of the business and ensuring care plans are accurate and written well.
