This is an amazing opportunity to join National Fostering Group as a Registered Manager with Children First Fostering.
We cover Essex, Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire, Norfolk, parts of London and parts of Kent.
We provide high quality foster care for children and young people aged between 0 to 18 years old and currently work with more than 50 foster carers and over 55 children.

Placements are generalist e.g Sibling groups, mother-and-baby, UASM with the occasional placement with more complex needs (see below) Staff Team of x 5 Social Workers, x 1 Team Manager, Admin staff.

Registered Managers are supported by Finance, HR, Recruitment, Assesement, Carer Recrutiment and matching teams leaving you free to concentrate on managing the service!!

Your Strategic Impact: Lead a dedicated team of Supervising Social Workers and Support Workers across Essex, Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire, North Kent, East London and North Kent Shape best practice and maintain our Outstanding Ofsted rating through your expertise in fostering regulations and quality standards Drive innovative approaches to foster carer recruitment, support, and development Cultivate strong relationships with Local Authorities to ensure the best possible outcomes for children in our care What Makes This Role Different?
Autonomy to shape service delivery and strategic direction – Foster Carer Recruitment targets are managed by Area Managers and Carer Rec team leaving the RM free to concentrate on quality and service improvement!
Clinical support for LAC with complex needs – We support children, families and SW's in cased where a young person may have developmental trauma, attachment disorders, neurodiversity via a 'mobile CAMHS' of clinical therapists / SALT's etc.
Opportunity to mentor and develop social work professionals Genuine work-life balance with up to 39 days annual leave Your Experience: As a qualified Social Worker with either a Level 4 Leadership and Management qualification (pre-2011) or Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care (post-2011), you'll bring proven experience in children's services leadership.
