Job Description Registered Manager - LD Residential Children's Home Salary: Up to £50,000 + Bonus scheme Our client is seeking a dedicated Registered Home Manager to lead a new residential children's home in Coventry.
This is a unique opportunity to establish and develop a supportive home environment for children with learning disabilities, autism spectrum disorder (ASD), and associated needs.
This role is ideal for a compassionate leader who values a therapeutic, homely setting and is committed to helping children thrive in all aspects of life.The service is part of a well-regarded group of specialist children's homes focused on creating safe, encouraging environments.
This position will allow the Registered Home Manager to make a meaningful difference and foster positive outcomes for young people.
What We're Looking For Qualifications and Certification : Hold a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care and Children and Young People's Services (to be completed within 3 years of employment) OR a Registered Manager's Award/Level 5 in Health and Social Care.
Experience in Care Management : At least 2 years in a home management role within children's residential care, demonstrating effective leadership and care oversight.
Regulatory Knowledge : In-depth understanding of the Children's Homes Regulations 2015, Quality Standards, and Ofsted inspection frameworks, ensuring regulatory compliance and high standards of care.
Safeguarding Expertise : Practical knowledge of safeguarding legislation, children's rights, and responsibilities within a professional care network.
