We are now in search of a Registered General Nurse to join our growing team in Chelmsford andwould love that Nurse to be you!
What we need from you: The ability to handle a high intensity patient turnover in an outpatient setting.
Capacity to undertake all care for patients whilst in the hospital including diagnostic tests and post-operative care.
Ability to administer drugs in accordance to the NMC guidelines for the safe and secure handling of medicines.
Able to handle admission and discharge of patients on a theatre day.
Capacity to prepare all areas prior to any clinical activities, ensuring all equipment is checked and ready for use.
Management of all the diagnostic equipment on a daily basis.
To ensure patient confidentiality at all times in accordance with the Data Protection Act and GDPR laws.
Provide support and mentorship to colleagues and new staff.
What Can we offer you: Salary £33,168 - £38,083 depending on ophthalmology experience.
Work life balance shifts of 4-day a week starting 7.30am to 5.30pm and 1 in 4 Saturdays (over time is available as and when required).
33 days holidays (includes bank holidays) increasing with length of service.
Up to 10% bonus each year split between personal and business performance NMC Pin paid for.
