Hours: 40 hours per week, flexible schedule with occasional evening shifts and on-call duties We are looking for an experienced and compassionate Registered Childrens Home Manager to lead our 5-bed residential EBD service in Dartford or Gillingham .
This role is ideal for a skilled leader committed to providing a safe, supportive environment for children with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD), preparing them for independence and future success.
Key Responsibilities of the Registered Childrens Home Manager in Dartford or Gillingham: Home Management: As the Registered Childrens Home Manager , you will oversee daily operations, ensuring compliance with Childrens Homes Regulations and National Minimum Standards.
Care Delivery: Provide high-quality care focused on emotional support, safety, and development tailored to each childs unique needs.
Team Leadership: Lead and inspire your staff team, promoting effective teamwork, professional growth, and compassionate care.
Quality Assurance: Uphold outstanding care standards through ongoing evaluation, quality monitoring, and compliance with Ofsted requirements.
Communication & Partnership: Collaborate with young people, families, and external agencies to ensure holistic support.
Safety & Compliance: Ensure the home adheres to Health and Safety standards, creating a secure, welcoming environment for everyone.
What Youll Bring: Qualifications: Level 5 in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare.
Experience: At least 1 year as a Registered Manager in an EBD setting, with a strong familiarity with the Ofsted inspection process.
