Job Title: 2x Registered Children's Home Manager - EBD Service, Dartford and Gillingham
Location: Position 1: Dartford, Position 2: Gillingham
Salary: £50,000 basic, with potential earnings up to £60,000 based on performance and inspections.
Hours: 40 hours per week, flexible schedule with occasional evening shifts and on-call duties
We are looking for an experienced and compassionate Registered Children's Home Manager to lead our 5-bed residential EBD service in Dartford or Gillingham. This role is ideal for a skilled leader committed to providing a safe, supportive environment for children with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD), preparing them for independence and future success.
Key Responsibilities of the Registered Children's Home Manager: Home Management: Oversee daily operations, ensuring compliance with Children's Homes Regulations and National Minimum Standards. Care Delivery: Provide high-quality care focused on emotional support, safety, and development tailored to each child's unique needs. Team Leadership: Lead and inspire your staff team, promoting effective teamwork, professional growth, and compassionate care. Quality Assurance: Uphold outstanding care standards through ongoing evaluation, quality monitoring, and compliance with Ofsted requirements. Communication & Partnership: Collaborate with young people, families, and external agencies to ensure holistic support. Safety & Compliance: Ensure the home adheres to Health and Safety standards, creating a secure, welcoming environment for everyone. What You'll Bring: Qualifications: Level 5 in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare. Experience: At least 1 year as a Registered Manager in an EBD setting, with a strong familiarity with the Ofsted inspection process. Dedication: A passion for supporting young people with EBD, helping them grow and thrive in a structured environment.
