If you have no driving license, then you must be able to easily travel to the location of the client in a timely manner (within a reasonable distance) Main responsibilities include but are not limited to: Providing emotional support to individuals and their families.
Providing enthusiastic and compassionate care, to contribute to an individual's physical and emotional wellbeing.
Being motivated and recognizing the importance of your role in supporting a client with complex care needs.
Being willing and eager to complete addition training, upskill, coach and mentor yourself.
Comfortably assisting clients with limited mobility.
Providing practical support for individuals, such as helping with household tasks, personal care, taking to appointments.
Supporting and monitoring their healthcare needs, including administering medication.
Maintaining a safe and clean environment for the individual.
Safeguarding individuals and reporting any concerns.
Accurate and timely record keeping and incident/accident reports.
Able to work on a rolling rota basis and being part of a team of core carers/support workers around the individual, working collaboratively with the management team.
