Overview:
We have an exciting opportunity for a senior sales professional whose main responsibilities will be working closely with both the strategic accounts team and the Customer Success team and identifying business development opportunities with these partners. This role will require demonstrating solution-selling and consultative strategic approach skills, while effectively managing the coordination between both teams (strategic accounts and customer success). The goal: to grow overall partnerships, increase Cvent's market share of clients' organizational spend, help position Cvent as a long-term trusted advisor, and ensure our clients are fully adopting our solutions.
This position has the opportunity to travel to Cvent's international offices for training alongside members of our global Sales team and to travel to clients' offices or attend tradeshows for key face-to-face meetings.
In This Role, You Will: Develop current relationships and identify new contacts to meet and exceed individual and department revenue expectations. Work closely with the SAT rep and the CS rep on the same.Put together and actively pursue a list of targeted key strategic initiatives, classified by accounts actively managed by the SAT rep and the CS rep. Focus on adoption, new opportunities, and long-term strategies.Travel up to 20% to represent Cvent at major tradeshows and hotel sales conferences, host product seminars, or attend client meetings.Take ownership and develop projects whose ultimate goal is to strengthen the cooperation between the strategic accounts team and the customer success team and uncover new sales opportunities.Work with both teams to secure adoption of the contracted tools and uncover pain points where applicable, which can convert into new sales opportunities.Analyze performance data and provide insights and recommendations to key stakeholders based on findings.Navigate and balance the needs of multiple stakeholders and initiatives within Key Accounts.Work with the strategic account team as well as other departments to ensure customer satisfaction, share feedback, and customize collateral and sales positioning.Perform other duties as assigned. Here's What You Need: University degree or equivalent experience.Ability to speak German to a business standard is a huge plus.Extensive experience selling to and/or managing hotel accounts at the corporate level.Familiarity with a high outbound call volume and high talk time sales environment.Infectious passion about the benefits of technology and digital marketing.Strong analytical skills, experience with data analysis, and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.Effective at integrating knowledge from prospecting, consultative selling, product demonstrations, negotiating contracts, operation/process flow, and product function.Strong sense of initiative and personal leadership demonstrating the ability to function independently while contributing to team initiatives.
