Job Title: Regional Sales Manager Reporting to: Head of Sales Function: Sales Location: Focus House, Shoreham By Sea Salary: Up to £45k – OTE £80k - £90k uncapped   About Us: Established in 2003, Focus Group is proud to be one of the UK's fastest growing independent providers of essential business technology, providing digital workplace solutions to over 30,000 customers across the UK.
From our small but ambitious beginnings, we have grown into a nationwide company with over 1000 employees across 16 offices and have recently joined the ranks of Britain's private company 'unicorns' after securing a new $1bn valuation The Regional Sales Manager is a newly created position at Focus Group in which you will be heavily involved in the direct management and development of an established BDM function.
You'll be responsible for developing working efficiencies, working efficiencies, productivity as well as maximise opportunities and sales.
Key Responsibilities: Responsible for helping the team to identify and generate new prospects and convert them into key accounts Ensure the teams existing customers are fully supported and they are proactively searching for whitespace/cross sell opportunities Achieve growth and hit sales targets by successfully managing and nurturing the sales team Present sales, revenue and expenses reports and accurate forecasts from PowerBI to the management team Ensure the teams diaries are managed correctly and assisting in overall time management Report progress and/or concerns regarding the team to Head of Sales Ensure that behaviours are in line with our values and address any concerns Conduct regular 1-2-1's with team alongside Head of Sales where necessary Deliver sales led support to the team when called upon Provide the team with client escalation support Manage objective setting, coaching and performance monitoring of sales representatives, including all areas of personal development around their sales ability Develop the team to be able to manage customers and prospects to their full potential ensuring other departments are introduced to increase cross sell Helping to develop and execute strategic account plans to maximise revenue opportunities Responsible for all team members performance against their KPIs Skills and Experience A proven track record in building and growing high performing teams, ideally in high-end technology sales environments Successful previous experience as a sales representative or sales manager, consistently meeting or exceeding targets Committed to continuous education through workshops, seminars and conferences Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close Strong business sense and industry expertise Excellent mentoring, coaching and people management skills Self-motivation and ambition A natural ability to build rapport and trust with the team A natural business acumen A proven ability to coach and develop successful salespeople The analytical skill to assimilate information quickly The ability to manage time and workload Experience of working at senior levels within a company Desire to be successful, hungry and have a competitive mind-set   Don't let the requirements hold you back!
