BASIC SALARY: up to £60,000 BENEFITS: · circa £15,000 commission in 1st year · Hybrid company car · 4% Pension · Private Health LOCATION: Home based and covering Northern England and North Wales (Stoke across to Nottingham northwards) ideally living on or near the M62 corridor.
COMMUTABLE LOCATIONS: Manchester, Leeds, Hull, Nottingham, Stoke, Chester, Newcastle, Carlisle JOB DESCRIPTION: Regional Sales Manager, Business Development Manager, Technical Sales Manager - packaging machinery, industrial machinery - food industry This Regional Sales Manager is a classic territory sales role covering Northern England & North Wales managing an established area with a 60% / 40% split between account management and business development selling packaging machinery mainly to the food industry.
PERSON SPECIFICATION: Regional Sales Manager, Business Development Manager, Technical Sales Manager - packaging machinery, industrial machinery - food industry · You WILL have a proven track record in field sales working for an industrial, technical or manufacturing company ideally selling capital equipment or a technical solution to the food industry.
· Any experience of selling packaging or process machinery would be very advantageous.
· You will ideally be a qualified engineer.
THE COMPANY: Working for a well established and market leading UK sales & service office for a European manufacturer of form fill and seal bag making packaging machinery supplied mainly to the food industry.
Full technical sales support will be offered to the successful applicant.
I have recruited for this company for over 10 years and have placed managers, sales people & service engineers with them, most of whom are still there.
PROSPECTS: This is a genuine chance to progress to Sales Director in the next 5 years for an ambitious candidate prepared to learn and then prove themselves.
