The Company: A well-established manufacturer seeking a Regional Sales Manager to cover the DACH region, working fully remote from the UK.
Main Objectives: - Develop new business and increase sales with both customers and distributors.
- Maintain and grow existing key accounts.
- Enhance sales quality with technical support.
- Provide product support and collaborate with the corporate sales team to build internal relations and meet objectives.
- Promote excellent customer satisfaction and enhance the company's reputation.
Key Responsibilities: - Manage customer sales accounts and representative activities within the European sales region, generating new business with existing and new customers.
- Arrange customer visits to discuss new and ongoing requirements.
- Support the internal sales team and customers with technical product and application information.
- Conduct detailed marketing analysis and prepare reports for management.
- Generate sales inquiries, identify requirements, and prepare quotations and proposals.
- Promote sales of both standard and custom products manufactured across all facilities.
- Prepare costings for new and existing products and provide quotations that ensure profitability.
- Continuously develop knowledge of high-voltage products and applications.
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date information in the sales contact database.
- Support ISO9001 Quality and ISO14001 Environmental requirements and improvement activities.
Commit to achieving the company's business, quality, and environmental objectives, and contribute to continuous improvement within the Sales function.
Education, Skills, and Knowledge: Proven successful track record in technical sales, particularly to OEMs.
Proficiency in English (essential); and German (advantageous).
Engineering degree, ideally in Electrical Engineering, or an equivalent higher technical qualification.
Unrestricted ability to travel is essential.
Strong marketing analysis and research skills.
Proficiency in MS Office and sales contact databases.
The Package: The salary for this position is £45,000 - £55,000, plus a bonus and company car, for a candidate who meets the key qualifications and skills
