Regional Sales Engineer – Home based £30k - £40k base + 20%-40% (OTE) + Car + Pension + Package (1 x Northwest, 1 x Northeast, 1 x Scotland & Ireland, 1 x Southwest) The Company GMA are delighted to be working in partnership with the world's leading electric motor and drives, design and manufacturer.
With a number of different business unit's they are able to offer a wide portfolio of motors, drives and solutions traditional and digital solutions for reliable, sustainable motion.
Due to a recent change in the UK strategy, they are now looking to appoint 4 regional sales engineers across parts of England.
The Role As the Regional Sales Engineer you will be responsible for developing new business sales of electric motors (LV, MV, HV) and drive technology aswell and the full suite of digital solutions.
Being based from, home you will look to generate customer visits with existing and new customers, going on site with businesses in the oil and gas, power generation, energy from waste, aggregates and other heavy industrial end users both end users and OEM's.
Using your motivation, drive, entrepreneurial/sales and technical ability you will look to deliver growth year on year, and as the company grows look to build on your success by progressing your career further.
Full product and sales training will be given as well as a structured development programme ensuring you get the best support possible, in order for you to enjoy success.
The Candidate The successful candidates will be Degree educated or apprentice trained in electrical engineering Will have postgraduate/apprenticeship (circa 2-5 years) experience of working in a commercial environment (any from applications, projects, internal sales, external sales, field service) Motivated by a career in technical/solution engineering sales.
Naturally out going, with the ability to build rapport quickly.
Decisive, able to work with attention to detail, being thorough in approach.
Well presented, professional in approach.
