A Blue-Chip Organisation that works within the insurance industry is looking to appoint a Sales Manager to develop and maintain sales through broker channels.
This is an excellent opportunity for a BDM / Sales Manager wanting to deal with more commercial clients at a larger scale.
About the Role: The Broker Relationship/Sales Manager will focus on account profitability as well as GWP and will take a strategic view of all channels rather than a one-dimensional sales approach.
This role will be predominantly about managing and maximising accounts rather than generating new channels.
Some Key Responsibilities :
Strive to achieve and exceed monthly volume and case count goals while upholding the minimum requirements for fieldwork.
To create and carry out a business plan to achieve the assigned portfolio's growth, and profitability.
Maintain long-term relationships and retention with brokers by using your expertise and the tools available.
Required Skills: A thorough knowledge of the South West broker market is essential for this position; ideally with a previous focus on Personal Lines or Commercial Insurance products.
You should be a strategic account manager with a solid sales background in a broker-facing role.
Experience within a similar role in either insurance or financial services/banking.
Location: This is a home-based role however, you must ideally reside in the South West along the M5 corridor as you'll be making regular trips to Clients in this geographical region.
Package: In return, you will receive a competitive salary of up to £60k/65k+ bonus scheme and a company car.
