Amazon Corporate Security (ACS) manages all aspects of physical security at Amazon Corporate locations and is a leader in security management, policy, and best practices. ACS is looking for a new team member who embodies the Amazon Leadership Principles of Customer Obsession and Think Big, to join our team as a Regional Manager of Physical Security Technology (PSEC) based in London, UK or Luxembourg, LU.
You will join a team of security professionals who are responsible for managing Amazon's Corporate Security programs worldwide. The high-visibility position will report to the Global Head of Physical Security Technology. This security professional will be responsible for delivering ACS's promise of a safe and secure work environment for all Amazonians by successfully using their project management and technical security skills to manage the corporate security aspects of Global Real Estate and Facilities projects, as well as creating strategic partnerships with security vendors and internal customers to execute a unique and exciting security project management program.
You will be expected to use your experience and strong judgment to influence business-related security decisions that may have substantial impact on business as usual, and/or project design and implementation.
Key job responsibilities Partnering with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate security vulnerabilities within our corporate office portfolio.Partnering with our real estate team in support of site due diligence for new building selection, security systems design, bid, award, construction, and testing.Overseeing the application of design standards and policies to new builds, expansions, and post-occupancy projects, and ensuring prototypes and other sensitive devices are secured per policy and customer standards.Developing strategies to consistently evolve and improve security-related performance and programs - aligned to Amazon's growth, risks, and operations.Managing multiple security projects concurrently – establishing and tracking project milestones and deliverables, and aligning key stakeholders.Managing the EMEA-based vendor portfolio, which is used to support design, construction, service, and maintenance activities. The vendor portfolio includes personnel at the program and project management level, as well as field construction and service teams.In the context of project management - the successful candidate is expected to create, establish, implement, and validate compliance across the corporate security design spectrum to include: physical security design standards, information security standards, emergency management standards, and facilities management best practices.Successful security projects are expected to leverage technology and systems to create automated processes and support systems that are sustainable and scalable. A typical day for this fast-paced role will involve ensuring the success of the regional design and construction teams. You may assist with complex design issues, engage with other stakeholders to drive projects, and work with vendors to ensure a successful site launch. You will serve as a key escalation point for regional customer issues, and will be responsible for communicating to those customers clearly and transparently. You will oversee the performance of the regional vendor teams, routinely reviewing work products and providing feedback through regular business reviews. You will provide strategic insights that may influence the structure of vendor contracts.

- Experience building and evaluating system-level technical design
- Experience managing technical programs across cross-functional teams, building processes, and coordinating release schedules
- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
- Experience working directly with engineering teams
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS- Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or equivalent
- Experience defining KPI's/SLA's used to drive multi-million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership
