An amazing new job opportunity has become available for a dedicated Regional Investigation & Continuous Improvement Officer to join teams at 2 learning disability services in the Cumbria area.
You will be working for one of UK's leading healthcare providers Both services part of the Learning Disability and Autism division that provides care and support to adults who have been given a primary diagnosis of a learning disability, and/or autism, and complex mental health needs **To be considered you must be qualified as a Registered Nurse or an Allied Healthcare Professional** Your key responsibilities include: Complete investigations and present findings, which may include presenting your findings at tribunals, inquests and external meetings Continually improve our understanding of care delivery issues to support the people who use our services Identify, evaluate and implement improvements at Cumbria sites Ensure the work practices and environment meet the requirements of the Health and Safety at Work Legislation Maintain and promote the health, safety and security of everyone at sites, including taking appropriate action when issues arise Encourage reflective practice and a culture of continuous improvement and openness The following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role: A valid UK driving licence and access to a vehicle Be an excellent listener, able to pick up on and consider nonverbal cues Strong administration skills with record keeping and report writing Balance empathy with fact finding, asking probing questions and confidence to challenge responses Strong analytical skills, able to clearly define and present findings in a concise and factual way Highly developed interpersonal skills, able to act assertively across a range of situations If successful you will receive an excellent salary of £37,800 per annum.
This exciting position is a permanent full time role for 40 hours a week working on days.
