Regional Head Chef - Bank - Care Home

Job summary This role provides an exciting opportunity for a qualified chef to work with fresh, seasonal food and deliver high-quality, nutritious meals in a care home setting.

Main duties of the job As a Regional Bank Chef at Barchester Healthcare, you will assist the Head Chef in creating nutritious, flavoursome, and well-balanced menus while working closely with residents to tailor the menu to their preferences.
You will be responsible for managing the kitchen in the Head Chef's absence, ensuring high-quality standards are maintained, working within budget, and leading and motivating a team.
This role offers a desirable work-life balance with regular hours and alternate weekends.

A good understanding of nutrition and experience of working with fresh, seasonal food are also required.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to create a warm and welcoming environment are essential.
