Job Title: Regional Auditor / Trainer Location: South East Region Salary: £42K Hours: Full time 42.5 hours per week (Mon-Fri) Environmental Essentials are a well-established asbestos company with 3 offices across the UK and an excellent reputation for delivering a first class, quality focused service to a number of very high-profile clients.
Due to expansion, continued growth and recent major contract wins, we are looking for Asbestos Auditor / Trainer to join the team, and represent our company based in our South East Region.
The purpose of the role is to provide guidance, mentoring and training of regionally based field staff placed under their supervision.
To ensure that the company maintains continual compliance in respect of field staff assessment and witness and quality assurance auditing at all times, and to ensure that all regional quality management system responsibilities are consistently and competently maintained.

The Job Role Undertake the following activities as part of an individual's training and authorisation plan: practical and theoretical on site training and assessment of field staff as required supervision and mentoring of trainees/new technical staff, or existing staff competency assessments, witness auditing and the necessary field related QA activities Ensure that feedback on staff performance is collated and provided to the Training and Development Manager and the necessary regional management in an efficient manner Escalation of substandard performance and of personnel failing to meet expected progress to the regional management team in line with performance review milestones Ensure that the company's operating procedures, standards and expectations are being communicated effectively through training and own behaviour Assist the Quality Manager with the undertaking and management of regionally based quality control activities such as equipment calibrations and maintenance, provision and collation of QC schemes, investigations in relation to non-conforming work and client complaints, Ongoing maintenance and management of the skills matrix for the technical field staff operating from their regional office Assist the Technical Manager with the training and authorisation of staff for reviewing technical reports About You P402, P403, P404 A minimum of 5 years' experience within the asbestos industry, and previous experience of working under a UKAS accredited management system Experience of providing supervision/mentoring of field staff Knowledge of EEL technical procedures related to area of expertise Understanding of quality processes and auditing techniques Awareness of current issues and developments in the asbestos industry Knowledge of current health and safety legislation Benefits Annual Leave – 23 days + 8 Bank holidays Sick Pay Life Assurance Health Cash Plan Company Vehicle Refer a Friend Scheme Employee Assistance Programme Expenses Pension Scheme At Environmental Essentials, we are dedicated to fostering an inclusive and diverse workplace where equality is at the core of everything we do.
