Regeneration Programme Manager

I am currently recruiting for an experienced Regeneration Programme Manager for my local authority client based in the West Midlands on an interim contract for 6 months.
This is to lead on the transformation of the town centre.
The successful candidate will play a crucial role in delivering a mixed-use regeneration proposal aimed at boosting economic growth and creating new employment opportunities.
Responsibilities: Project Management: Oversee the planning, implementation and delivery of the town centre regeneration project.
Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with public and private sector partners, investors, developers and community groups.
Economic Development: Identify and pursue opportunities for economic growth and job creation within the town centre.
Land Development: Work closely with landowners and developers to create exciting new opportunities for development on publicly owned land.
Civic Development: Lead the development of a brand-new civic theatre and library.
Infrastructure Improvements: Coordinate the delivery of essential infrastructure projects, such as a multi-storey car park and a physical activity hub.
Community Engagement: Foster strong community involvement and support for the regeneration project.
Requirements: Proven experience in project management, with a successful track record of delivering complex regeneration projects.
Strong understanding of economic development and land use planning.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders.
Experience in working with public sector organisations and community groups.
