Refurb Team Member - Cdc

Details of the offer

The role will include testing, repairing and refurbishment of returned products in line with the business needs.
To ensure that work is carried out in a safe and cost-effective manner to the required quality standard as well as assisting with the identification of any failure trends by means of fault finding and logging findings.
Responsibilities: Review all returned products to evaluate opportunity to refurbish Check that products are electrically and visually safe before testing.
(PAT test) Test all suitable products, where deemed beyond economical repair (BER), then all reusable components should be retained.
Where repairable faults are identified, carry out the required repair before testing.
Replacement of external panels as required in line with company procedures.
Cleaning of the product using only approved chemicals, in line with company procedures.
Sanitise and descale products as required.
All products must meet the required quality standard when completed.
(final inspection) All products must be electrically safe before packaging.
(PAT test) Maintain accurate records of work carried out.
Assist with stock control of components, ensuring a continuous supply is available.
To liaise with the team leader when re-ordering is required.
Maintain security of all stock.
To comply with statutory Health & Safety requirements.
To comply with the hygiene and technical requirements set out in the Technical Manual of the WHA.
To complete administration task using the computer as required.
To assist in training others in the correct procedures as required.
All warranty remedial work is to be documented in line with current procedures.
All new returns work is to be documented in line with current procedures.
To carry out any reasonable request made by your line manager.
Requirements Previous experience of working in a target orientated production environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Technical and logical aptitude.
Capable of prioritising tasks.
Ability to manage own workload within given deadlines.
Must be able to demonstrate a positive attitude and be self-motivated Previous experience of working in a repair centre with relevant products Current counter balance fork truck licence.
