Recycling Team Leader

The Recruitment Co are currently looking for a Recycling Team Leader to join a growing team in Barnsley.
This is a hands-on Supervisor role, in which you are managing 2 other operatives on site.
What to Expect: Lead and manage the day-to-day recycling operations, ensuring adherence to safety, quality, and performance standards.
Supervise and train team members, promoting a positive and productive work environment.
Oversee the sorting, processing, and packaging of recyclable materials in accordance with company and customer specifications.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Report on production metrics and performance, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
What We Need from You: Previous experience in a leadership role within a recycling or manufacturing environment.
Strong organisational and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
A commitment to maintaining health and safety protocols, with experience in enforcing these in a team setting.
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with team members and management.
Knowledge of recycling processes and experience in a production or processing facility would be a plus.
