Recycling Operative

We have an exciting opportunity for an immediate start for a Waste and Recycling Operative for a client in Aylesford on a temporary ongoing basis which could lead permanent for the right candidate.The role is in the waste and recycling department, you can be working inside and outside.
We are looking for someone with experience with a counterbalance forklift (internal certificates accepted).
Part of the role will be loading waste collections using a FLT.You will be collecting, sorting and disposing waste and recycling and sorting into relevant areas such as cardboard, plastic, wood.
You could be sorting and baling waste cardboard and plastic film along with recovery of packaging waste/recycling products returned for recycling to maximise revenue from the waste streams.
You will be maintaining the general cleanliness of the site.This role is not heavy but physically demanding and can be dirty.
We are looking for someone who is self-driven.This role is Monday to Friday 8-4 and pays £13.08ph.
Half hour unpaid lunch.
