An excellent opportunity for an experienced CNC Sliding Head Turner to join a well-established company.
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent.
Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 Per Annum, Depending on Experience.
Location: Watford WD24.
Schedule: 5 working days, Monday to Thursday 8.00am to 5.00pm, Friday 8.00am to 1.00pm.
About The Company: Priding themselves on continually upgrading machine tools and management systems to the highest levels which allows them to stay true to their original goal of producing high quality precision machined components to meet their customer specifications.
The broad range of machines means thatthe companycan produce Precision Machined Parts in batches ranging from tens to tens of thousands.
About The Role: Setting & Programming Citizen or Star Sliding Head Lathes in the manufacture of prototype and small to medium batch components to aerospace standards.
Working with stainless steel, aluminium and Brass & Titanium etc.
Candidate Requirements: Have proven experience of setting and operating Sliding head CNC Lathes to produce small to medium batch high precision components.
Be able to demonstrate the ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
Ideally have an engineering apprenticeship however experience is the overriding factor.
Company Benefits: Permanent basis; 5 working days, Monday to Thursday 8.00am to 5.00pm, Friday 8.00am to 1.00pm.
Salary package based on qualification and working experience.
Overtime/additional hours may be required, depending on the work load of the business.
