Birmingham Electrical Training is recruiting a Recruitment Co-ordinator to join our growing team.

The Company Birmingham Electrical Training is a family business, established in 1991, over the past 34 years Birmingham Electrical Training has grown to become 2nd largest Electrical Apprenticeship Training Provider in the UK.
At our dedicated training centre, based in Hockley, Birmingham we currently support over 690 apprentices.
Under our apprentice programme we partner with electrical contractors who provide employment and on the job training and we provide off the job training delivered by our dedicated team of Tutors and Training Officers.
We also offer upskilling and bespoke training for electricians in areas such as Test & Inspection and Renewable Technology.

The Role The demand for our Electrical Apprenticeships is growing, over the past 3 years, our apprenticeship provision has grown by nearly 50%.
More and more electrical contractors are working with us, seeking the very best talent to grow their business.
We are seeking a Recruitment Co-Ordinator, to co-ordinator our recruitment operation.
Successful candidates will be responsible for managing the Apprentice Recruitment process, interviewing apprentices, supporting employers with sourcing suitable apprentice candidates.
Successful candidates will Business Development Director.
Often this role is the first person customers will speak to within the business and will need to be passionate about recruitment and apprenticeships.
Candidates will need to motivated, highly organised and work well within a team to provide a high-quality service.

Key tasks include:
·         Contacting Candidates and arranging for them to complete our recruitment process.

·         Liaising with Employers through the apprentice recruitment, providing candidates and arranging interviews
·         Supporting Employers through the enrolment process, this includes undertaking sign up meetings in and out of the office across the west midlands.

·         Interviewing Apprentice Applicants and providing Advice, Guidance, including CV and employment searching advice.

·         Supporting employers with Digital Apprenticeship System
·         Supporting out of work apprentices with employment advice
·         Attending School & Career Events to promote Electrical Apprenticeships
·         Visiting Employers offices completing apprentice sign up paperwork for new apprentices
The Person We are looking for an enthusiastic Recruitment Co-Ordinator who has the passion to help young people in finding their chosen career.
You will be organised and systematic in your approach to your work.
With an excellent attention to detail and a determination to ensure that all tasks are completed thoroughly.

Key skills and attributes:
·         a passion for recruitment, advice and guidance and a desire to continuously learn
·         Proficient in using Microsoft Office,
·         a team-player with excellent communication skills
·         self-motivated and proactive with the ability to manage your own time and prioritise your workload
·         experience of using a CRM system would be ideal.

·         Experience of working within a Apprenticeship Provider or Recruitment Agency would be advantageous.

·         Excellent IT Skills – Good knowledge of Word, Excel and Outlook
·         Clean Driving Licence – millage allowance provided on company millage as you will be required to attend school events and sign up meetings at employers offices.

Please note that the successful candidate will be working with candidates who are 16+ and may be vulnerable.
Candidates will be required to undertake and successfully obtain an enhanced level DBS check at start of employment.

The Package: · £28,000 - £30,000 annual salary (depending on skills and experience)
· 25 days annual leave plus statutory bank holidays
· 6-month Probation Period
· Auto Enrolment pension and life assurance scheme
