Job summary An exciting opportunity has become available with Inclusion NHS Substance Misuse Service at HMP Stocken for a Band 4 Recovery Support Worker.
The successful candidate will deliver group work sessions and carry a case load of non-complex men and work with them through their care plan objectives.
As a band 4 Recovery Support Worker you will be delivering evidence based interventions in a group and 1:1 setting with our service users.
HMP Stocken in a Cat C male establishment.
Inclusion NHS provide the substance misuse service at HMP Stocken and work with men who have current or historical substance misuse issues.

Main duties of the job You will be joining a well-established, hardworking team who will support you in your new role providing a range of low, medium and high intensity interventions as part of the substance misuse team to those service users experiencing substance misuse problems.
Your day to day job will be to support the men in your care through their recovery plan.
This will be through the delivery of group work session and 1:1 will support the Under the Influence Pathwayreport writing and updating case notes, this will be an important part of your role.
You will provide a range of psycho-social interventions motivating and supporting service users to achieve recovery and positive outcomes within a recovery-orientated substance misuse treatment service Collaborating with clinical prescribing services, you will ensure the needs of each service user is met and that integrated working is a key element to Inclusion's prison services.

A summary is as follows: To organise programme of groupwork within the establishment and to facilitate group work interventions as directed by Line Manager.To accept referrals, assess need and make appropriate prioritisation for groupwork attendees.Provide harm reduction advice, information and support with an emphasis on safer drug use, safer sex, HIV, Hepatitis A, B and C and other blood borne infections.Be responsible maintaining an appropriate caseload with key worker responsibility.To carry out comprehensive assessments as required by their line manager.To co-produce and construct care packages with multi disciplinary colleagues where required, review care plans in a structured format and manage onward referral.Demonstrable commitment to service user involvement and leading service user projects.To be involved with recruitment, management and supervision of recovery champions and mentor and provide them with training and regular support and to further develop the lived experience networkTo work with a range of professionals in ensuring service users needs in terms of safeguarding and mental health are met.
