Job Description We're recruiting for a?Reconciliations Specialist ? to join us for a 12 month FTC.
You will analyse multiple reconciliations to investigate and correct anomalies, ensuring the customer has received the correct payments and all regulatory reporting has been submitted, escalating to subject matter experts when needed.
Scrutinising various reconciliations, checking funds have been allocated to customer cases and dealing with unallocated payments, taking every opportunity to delight the customer, and ensuring the right outcomes is achieved, aligning to our quality standards, regulatory requirements and L&Gs policies.
You will be responsible for delivering to the KPIs as well as providing payroll reconciliation knowledge and support when required within the function and the wider business.
What you'll be doing: Operational Delivery – Analysing data, investigating anomalies, and correcting customer records Regulation – Supporting to ensure that all appropriate legislative, regulatory and internal process and procedure knowledge is developed and maintained within the team by identifying, reporting and resolving any breaches and ensuring that the correct checks are undertaken during our processes Using your reconciliation knowledge and analytical skills to complete the end to end processes.
Providing advice and guidance and technical input to teams outside Customer Payroll Record keeping - accurately recording workflow, maintaining various spreadsheets to track case progress and allow for MI production, update customer records with actions completed Supporting in user testing and monitoring the implementation of changes involving reconciliation systems or processes, to help safeguard the continuation of accurate and timely payments and reporting Consumer Duty- Ensuring that the principles of Conduct Risk are embedded into your day-to-day operations to deliver good customer outcomes at all times.
Ensuring that all business processes and internal controls within your role are designed and performed in a way that delivers good customer outcomes Identifying areas of improvement and working within our processes and Agile framework to take action to continually enhance the customer journey Covering aspects of other reconciliation related tasks during absence, ensuring no impact on service or projects Qualifications Who we're looking for: knowledge of Legal & General pension products Strong Payroll processes & software Awareness of Payroll regulatory/risk Basics of processing payroll and reconciliations Experience in a similar environment working on large volume pension payments/payrolls reconciliations on a business to business and business to consumer basis.
