Job summary This role as a Receptionist at Avery Healthcare's Amarna House Care Home in York offers a great opportunity to be the first point of contact for residents, visitors, and staff.
You will be responsible for providing professional, high-quality customer service and a range of administrative support, working within a caring and supportive team environment.
Main duties of the job As a Receptionist, your primary focus will be to offer excellent customer service, answering calls, redirecting enquiries, and providing administrative assistance as required.
You will be responsible for maintaining the reception area, liaising with the Housekeeping team, and supporting the General Manager with various administrative tasks.

If this sounds like the place for you, wed love to hear from you!ABOUT THE ROLEYour focus as a receptionist will be to offer professional, high quality customer service as first point of contact within the home as well as providing a range of administrative services.Other responsibilitieswillinclude: Answering the telephone and responding to enquiries at reception, redirecting calls to relevant staff and recording messages accordingly.
Completingreception-related administration,maintainingdatabases,and providing administrativeassistanceas required by the General Manager.
Maintainingthe general tidiness of the reception area, liaising with Housekeeping to ensure standards aremaintained.ABOUT YOUTo be successful in your application, you will live our values of caring, supportive, honest, respectful and accountable in all that you do.Our ideal candidatemust: Have excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
