Job summary An opportunity has arisen for a motivated, organised and enthusiasticindividual to work as a Receptionist/Administrator in our Adult CommunityMental Health Service in Widemarsh Street, Hereford.
This is a permanentcontract for hours per week.
You will be part of our administrative team,working in this friendly office alongside Team Secretaries and MedicalSecretaries offering support to our Neighbourhood Mental Health Teams.

Main duties of the job As part of our team you will undertake a full range ofreception, clerical and administrative responsibilities.
You will providean efficient, welcoming and helpful reception service and will ensure thatpatient confidentiality is observed at all times.
You will be expected todemonstrate an efficient and pleasant telephone manner when dealing withpatients, staff and clinician enquiries and will take accurate details andrecord information within the patient record on the Trust database.
You willtake responsibility for dealing with incoming and outgoing post.
Goodcommunication skills are essential as you will need to liaise directly withpatients, clinicians and other staff.

Person Specification Experience Essential Recent, relevant experience in an Administrative /Secretarial / Reception / Customer Service Role Desirable Previous relevant NHS administrative experience Knowledge Essential Knowledge of office procedures Computer literate and a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office; Outlook, Word, Excel Additional Criteria Essential Ability to meet the travel requirements of the role Qualifications Essential Educated to academic Level 2 ( GCSE Grade A-C, NVQ2, OCR/RSA2, City and Guilds 2) in a Business Administration-related subject Or Considerable recent NHS administrative experience and will be expected to undertake the relevant level 2 qualification on appointment to post I understand that I will be asked to provide original certificates to verify my qualifications at point of offer.
