We are delighted to be working in partnership with a long standing client located in Glasgow who are looking to recruit a Receptionist / Administrator to join them on a full time, permanent basis.You will report into the Office Manager and be part of the wider Support Services Department where you will be responsible for providing a first-class administrative service which will include archiving of client information whilst supporting Front of House, dealing with all reception tasks.This role will be office based, working Monday to Friday 9-5pm.General dispatch duties to include making deliveries and collectionsOpening, sorting and distributing all post including internal mailCollection of post at set times during the course of the dayMessenger duties when requiredCopying and scanning of documentsGeneral switchboard and reception dutiesFirst point of contact for all visitors, clients and colleaguesWelcome all guests in a polite and professional mannerManage all incoming switchboard enquiries, transferring of calls and taking messagesEnsure reception area is clean and tidy at all times with up-to-date information on showManage the meeting room bookingsEnsure all meeting rooms are clean and tidy ahead of future meetingsArrange any refreshments required for meetingsAudio typing, filing, archiving documentsGeneral administrative tasksTravel to Edinburgh to cover any holidays or sickness when requiredTo be considered for this opportunity, our client does require the following experience /background:Previous experience working in a busy administrative and receptionist roleBackground working within the professional services sectorExtremely professional and presentable at all timesExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to think on your feet and use initiativeProactive and ensure tasks are completed before being askedStrong work ethic with high standards at all timesAbility to work under pressure and juggle a variety of tasksStrong IT Skills and ability to use different systems including MS Office, IntranetAbility to work independentlyWillingness to be flexible and proactiveRewardSalary Circa £23-24k per annumGenerous holiday allowanceExcellent training and a clear career pathPensionFlexible working upon requestLife AssuranceVarious incentives and rewardsNext StepsFor further information, please apply by emailing your CV to Utopian Recruitment ASAP.
