Job Title: Reception Customer Services Assistant Contract Type: Temporary Contract Length: Initial contract until 21st April 2025 Location: Didcot Position Type: Full Time Brook Street is recruiting on behalf of our government client for a Reception Customer Services Assistant.
Key Role Responsibilities: Provide professional front-of-house reception and administrative duties.
Respond to operational needs and offer administrative support to ensure day-to-day tasks are managed effectively.
Deliver high-quality reception services to staff, visitors, and collaborators.
Act as the first point of contact with customers via various communication channels, ensuring excellent customer service at all times.
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations and effective service delivery.
Knowledge and Experience Required: Previous experience in a busy customer service or reception role, maintaining professionalism and composure under pressure.
Good numeracy and literacy skills.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with a professional telephone manner.
Proficient in IT, with a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite and web-based applications.
Able to work independently and use initiative.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing deadlines and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Confidence and experience in resolving difficult situations efficiently.
A proven track record of reliability and punctuality.
Experience in recording, managing, and extracting data from IT systems.
Skilled in creating and adapting spreadsheets for operational needs.
