Real Estate Associate/Senior Associate

We are excited to partner with our highly regarded Legal client to recruit an experienced Associate/Senior to join their Real Estate team.

This full-time opportunity is based in Edinburgh City Centre with hybrid working.

What you'll do Provide expert legal advice to a diverse range of clients, including public sector organisations such as local and central government.
Our client is seeking an experienced lawyer to negotiate contracts and offer guidance on all aspects of purchasing, selling, developing and leasing commercial properties across various sectors.

Key Responsibilities Draft, negotiate, finalise and implement contracts for the sale and lease of property assets Review property titles and leases, providing comprehensive reports to clients Prepare, negotiate and conclude leases along with related lease management documentation Build and nurture lasting relationships with clients and agents Mentor and support junior team members in developing their technical expertise and skills Manage your workload effectively and professionally, ensuring efficient, cost-conscious service delivery that meets client and firm objectives Take a proactive approach to financial management of your and the team's matters, including accurate time recording and timely invoicing Collaborate constructively with colleagues across the Real Estate and Infrastructure division Actively participate in and support business development initiatives within the division What you'll need A minimum of 6 years' PQE in commercial real estate, with relevant experience in the field Proven ability to supervise and guide the work of others effectively While experience with Public Sector clients is advantageous, it is not essential Exceptional communication skills: articulate, clear, concise and free from jargon A team player who also thrives when working independently and taking initiative Personable, with a strong ability to build and maintain client relationships Confident and self-assured in your skills and expertise Dedicated to delivering an exceptional client experience, with a willingness to go the extra mile when needed What you'll receive Generous benefits package Competitive salary Cycle to work scheme Profit related pay Car leasing scheme And more What's next?
