What you'll be doing As a Range Analyst in the Category Planning & Ranging team at Sainsbury's, you will play a vital role in owning the end-to-end ranging process for our Floral and Veg products.
With a focus on cross-functional collaboration, detailed analysis, and attention to detail, you will drive the delivery of ranges that meet both strategic and legislative objectives, Utilising your analytical skills, you will evaluate potential value creation through thorough analysis of diverse data sources.
You will engage and coordinate stakeholders, ensuring projects adhere to budget, timeframes, and quality standards.
Additionally, you will create store implementation briefing packs, conduct Post Investment Reviews, provide support and guidance on ranging excellence, and oversee in-category merchandising.
Your ability to problem-solve, prioritise opportunities, communicate effectively, and manage projects of varying scope will contribute to the success of our range offerings.
Who you are You are a highly analytical and organised professional with a keen eye for detail and a talent for turning complex data into meaningful insights and actions.
Your ability to identify strategic range objectives and translate them into actionable plans drives the delivery of robust range and merchandising strategies.
With your project management experience, you effectively coordinate stakeholders and ensure projects are delivered within budget, on time, and in line with strategic objectives.
Your strong communication skills allow you to engage with stakeholders at all levels, while your ability to balance quantitative and qualitative market assessments enables you to make informed decisions regarding range opportunities and value creation.
With your experience in conducting research, providing guidance, and managing teams, you play a vital role in creating ranges that support business objectives and deliver exceptional customer experiences.
