We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a Year 5 class in a welcoming primary school in the Leeds LS4 area.
This is a full-time role, working Monday to Friday from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm.

Key Responsibilities:
Provide tailored support to pupils during lessons, helping them engage with the curriculum and achieve their learning goals.
Work with individual students or small groups to support literacy, numeracy, and other key skills.
Assist with classroom management, ensuring a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Provide one-to-one support for pupils with additional needs, including SEN and behavioural challenges, fostering their confidence and independence.
Help prepare and organise classroom resources and materials, supporting the teacher with lesson delivery.
Encourage positive social interactions and help pupils develop emotional resilience and problem-solving skills.
Monitor pupil progress and provide feedback to the teacher, contributing to individual learning plans.
Requirements:
Proficient knowledge of the national Key Stage Curriculum.
Familiarity with diverse teaching approaches suitable for every child.
Solid comprehension of child development and the learning process.
Exhibit effective listening and verbal communication skills.
A commitment to building positive children relationships and addressing their requirements.
Capable of offering individualised attention, encouragement, and learning support.
Possess an Enhanced DBS check or willing to obtain one through Randstad.
Eligibility to work in the UK without requiring sponsorship.
