As a Learning Support Assistant (LSA), you'll be at the heart of student success, helping to deliver tailored learning activities and providing vital support across different classroom settings, including one-on-one engagement.
You will play an instrumental role in shaping the future of these young learners!
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate closely with Classroom Teachers and the Senior Leadership Team to create an engaging and inclusive learning environment.
Understand how physical, intellectual, emotional, and social factors impact a pupil's learning, and adapt your approach accordingly.
Make the most of ICT for interactive learning and efficient administrative tasks.
Inspire, encourage, and support students-challenge them to exceed expectations while boosting their self-esteem and confidence.
Assist in marking students' work, tracking their progress, and celebrating their achievements.
Help students appreciate and value their learning experiences.
Stay current on all school policies, including safeguarding, child protection, and health and safety.
Keep up-to-date with the SEN Code of Practice and maintain the highest standards in everything you do.
