Our partner schools provide practical on-the-job training and ongoing support from a team of experienced staff.
In this term-time role, you will have the chance to explore your passion for education by assisting students aged 4-11, contributing to their social, emotional, and academic growth.
If you have experience working with children or a background in caregiving, a teaching assistant role might be the perfect next step for you.
This is a contract position offering a long-term opportunity with full-time hours.
Benefits: Access to a variety of e-learning courses and knowledge libraries An exciting referral bonus, earning £300 in Love2Shop vouchers for referrals (T&Cs apply) Work with a team of specialists and experienced professionals Opportunities for career progression Flexibility to work with various age groups and year levels Responsibilities: Collaborate with teachers to work with groups of children Provide regular progress updates to the class teacher and maintain records Attend to children's personal needs, including minor first aid, and offer guidance on pastoral, social health, physical hygiene, and welfare matters Engage with teachers, caregivers, and parents to monitor student development Support children on a 1:1 basis or in small groups to facilitate their learning Be a positive role model for students and staff Requirements: Experience working with children Genuine passion for working with children Grade C or above (or equivalent) in GCSE Maths and English Enhanced child DBS (we can assist if you don't already have one) Classroom and behavior management skills Patience to support pupils in understanding lessons and engaging in activities planned by the teacher Eligibility to work in the UK (Sponsorship not provided)
