Position: Supply Teaching Assistant Location: Lewes Hours: Flexible, Short or Long-Term Bookings Contract Type: Temporary, Supply Basis About the Role: Randstad Education is looking for adaptable and enthusiastic Supply Teaching Assistants to support various schools across Lewes.
As a Supply Teaching Assistant, you will have the flexibility to work on short or long-term bookings, assisting in classrooms, working with small groups, or providing 1:1 support to pupils as needed.
Key Responsibilities: Support classroom teachers in delivering engaging and effective lessons.
Work with small groups of students to enhance their learning and understanding.
Provide 1:1 support to pupils with specific learning needs, including SEN.
Assist in managing classroom behaviour and maintaining a positive learning environment.
Adapt quickly to different school environments and work effectively with various teams.
Help prepare and organise learning materials and classroom resources.
Requirements: Experience working with children, preferably within an educational setting.
A flexible and adaptable approach to working in different schools and with varying age groups.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team or independently.
A patient, caring, and supportive attitude towards working with children.
Relevant qualifications in education or childcare are advantageous but not essential.
