The Role : We are looking for a passionate Teaching Assistant to work at a welcoming SEN School based in Newmarket.
As an SEMH Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with a range of social, emotional, and mental health needs.
Working alongside the class teacher, you will assist in delivering tailored learning strategies and interventions, ensuring students can succeed in a nurturing and safe environment.

If you are interested in this role, APPLY NOW Your Responsibilities: Provide one-to-one and small group support to students with SEN/SEMH.
Collaborate closely with teachers and support staff to foster an inclusive and supportive classroom environment.
Assist in maintaining classroom order, fostering a positive and stimulating learning atmosphere.
Establish effective communication with parents, teachers, and external professionals.
Regularly monitor and evaluate the academic and social progress of students with SEN.
Adapt teaching materials and resources to accommodate diverse learning needs.
Requirements: Experience working or volunteering with SEND children (preferably with autism/ADHD experience).
Strong behaviour management skills.
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
Caring and empathetic personality.
Commitment to safeguarding children.
A DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one.
