We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Teaching Assistant to join our team in Year 6, providing support and guidance to students as they prepare for their transition to secondary school.This full-time position offers the chance to make a real difference in the lives of young learners during a critical stage of their education.

Roles & Responsibilities:
Supporting children with personal care tasks, when necessary, to ensure their safety, well-being, and participation in school activities.
Strong understanding of various special educational needs and strategies for supporting them.
Patience, empathy, and effective communication skills when working with children.
Ability to adapt teaching methods to cater to diverse learning styles and individual needs.
Knowledge of behaviour management techniques and strategies for promoting positive behaviour.
Collaborative mindset to work closely with teachers, specialists, and other support staff.
Commitment to safeguarding and ensuring the well-being of all children.

Requirements:
The confidence to evaluate learning needs and actively seek new teaching methods.
Willingness and ability to adapt in response to changing circumstances.
The ability to provide individual attention, reassurance and support with learning tasks.
A sound understanding of child development and learning.
An enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to get a new one A good understanding of the national Key Stage Curriculum.
Eligibility to work in UK (No sponsorship provided) You are reliable, dependable, and committed to providing high-quality care.
