Job DescriptionThe Job:Navartis are currently searching for a Technical Sales Manager for a manufacturing business operating on key civil infrastructure projects within the rail sector.This role plays a key part within the companies' rail division, supporting the achievement of sales & profit targets by providing technical expertise and driving customer engagement.
To do this, the ideal candidate will build strong client relationships by acting as point of guidance during installs, working with internal teams to aid in successful delivery of projects.Key responsibilities include:Managing and qualifying leads within Salesforce, ensuring accurate quotes with all appropriate documentation such as technical drawings are provided in a reasonable timescale and to the highest standardDevelop a thorough understanding of company products - ability to efficiently communicate the benefits and advantages the company can offer to potential customers, through product demonstrations and presentations to customers at industry eventsSupport the sector manager by participating in regular meetings – covering other opportunities, projects, needs as well as managing levels of stock to ensure optimal delivery of projects for customersInterpret technical drawings and specifications – for the purpose of ensuring correct guidelines are specified for any orders made but also to collaborate with design agencies and other areas to optimally present the benefits of the companies' productsWork with contractors & subcontractors during product installation – assisting with technical solutions when required, ensuring this is provided within a timely manner and correctly resolves any issuesThe ideal candidate:Previous experience within the rail sector is a requirement for the role, relevant technical product knowledge and expertise being advantageousBachelors degree in engineering or technical sales, or other related areaAbility to produce a detailed Bill of Quantities, to ensure quoting is performed correctlyFlexible approach to work – willing to travel for customer meetings and industry eventsExposure to & ability to interpret technical specs and drawingsProficient IT skills, specifically with use of CRM systems in a role of a similar capacityThe package on offer:Competitive salary package (up to £65k)Company bonus scheme (up to 20%)Car allowance/company carHybrid/remote workingOpportunity to buy additional leave, entitled leave increasing with serviceInternal opportunities at further development with company supportHealth care scheme
